What QuickRef Does

QuickRef operates eight browser-based reference tools at quickref.site and its subdomains (roman.quickref.site, morse.quickref.site, rhymes.quickref.site, formulas.quickref.site, periodic.quickref.site, binary.quickref.site, cite.quickref.site, timezone.quickref.site). All tool logic runs as JavaScript on your device. We do not operate servers that process your inputs.

Information We Do Not Collect

We never collect, transmit, or store:

• Numbers you enter into the Roman numeral converter
• Text you translate into or from Morse code
• Words you search for in the rhyme finder
• Formulas you look up or search for
• Elements you click on in the periodic table
• Binary, decimal, or hex values you convert
• Citation information you enter (titles, authors, URLs, dates)
• Time zones or times you convert
• Any other content entered into any QuickRef tool

You can verify this by opening your browser's developer tools (F12), navigating to the Network tab, and observing that no outgoing requests are made when you use any QuickRef tool.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit any QuickRef page, standard server and analytics data is collected automatically. This includes:

• Your browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Your approximate location (country and city level, derived from IP address — the IP address itself is not stored)
• The website you came from (referrer URL)
• Device type (desktop, tablet, mobile)

This data is anonymized and used solely to understand how the site is used, identify errors, and improve tool performance. It is not sold, shared, or used to identify individuals.

Google Analytics

QuickRef uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics collects anonymized data about how visitors use the site — pages viewed, session duration, geographic region, and browser type. This data is processed by Google and made available to us in aggregate form only.

Google Analytics uses cookies to identify returning visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.

Google AdSense

QuickRef displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and browsing behavior to show relevant ads. Cookies

QuickRef does not set any first-party cookies. Google Analytics and Google AdSense set third-party cookies as described above. You can disable or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings. Disabling cookies will not affect any QuickRef tool functionality.

Children's Privacy

QuickRef tools are educational reference tools suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information through our contact form, please email us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of QuickRef after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be noted prominently on the homepage.
